Leigh’s fourth round Ladbrokes Challenge Cup tie against London is the most attractive of the draw says Centurions boss Paul Rowley.
It’s a repeat of the Championship fixture earlier this month which Centurions won 25-12.
“From a gate point of view it’s not going to be a money-spinner,” said Rowley.
“But you can’t argue with a home tie and it should be a quality game between ourselves and a side that was in Super League last year.
“They have a big squad to pick from including players on dual reg from Wakefield and others there on loan. They’re the London Barbarians in that sense.
“London have plenty of NRL and Super League experience and they will be looking to improve on their performance when they were here in the league.”
The game has been scheduled for Friday, March 20 with an 8pm kick-off.
Leigh’s head of rugby Derek Beaumont explained: “The Board of Directors considered the options available from a commercial point of view and also took into account player welfare.
“In the light of alternative local sporting attractions taking place on Saturday and Sunday we felt it was an ideal opportunity to test the water in playing a Friday night fixture.
“This will also enable the players to have quality weekend family time early in the season. We’d like to thank London Broncos for agreeing to our request. They were very co-operative in the discussions we had with them.”
The North and West Stands will be open for the game. Match-day prices are as per normal first team games:
West Stand- Adults £19, Concessions £15, Under-16s £5, Under-12s free when accompanied by an adult.
North Stand- Adults £17, Concessions £13, Under-16s £5, Under-12s free when accompanied by an adult.
