Three Leigh players have been cleared after incidents in Sunday’s win at Dewsbury.

Winger Adam Higson, who was placed on report in the first half for an alleged high tackle, will face no further action.

The disciplinary review stated: “Tackle is high however initial contact is with the shoulder of opponent who is slipping. Worthy of on field penalty.”

Centurions forwards Jamie Acton and Kurt Haggerty will not face any further punishment after sin-binnings in the same game.

Dewsbury forward Matthew Haggerty - who received a red card for an allleged high tackle on Ryan Brierley - has also escaped additional punishment.

The RFL disciplinary notes: “Opponent has taken ball to the line. Tackle is marginally late. Player makes wrapping motion. Initial contact is to the shoulder with secondary head contact. Sending Off Sufficient.”

Leigh won the game 28-12 though were trailing 8-0 when Matthew Haggerty was sent off.
