Leigh Centurions: Wolves friendly doubles as Grix testimonial

Leigh’s preseason game at Warrington will be a fund-raiser for long-serving Wolves forward Simon Grix.

The game will take place at The Halliwell Jones Stadium, on Sunday, January 24 2016, kick-off 3.00pm.

The Rugby Football League has awarded Warrington Wolves’ and Ireland international Simon Grix a 12 month testimonial in recognition of his long and illustrious career, good character and service to the community both within and around rugby league.

Grix started his professional career at Halifax, making his debut for Warrington in April 2006. Grix has proved himself to be the ultimate utility player, being able to play in numerous different positions during his career.

He has made 147 appearances for the Wolves scoring 48 tries.

Tickets will go on sale from LSV on Friday, November 13, and are priced as follows.

• North Stand (seated) – adults £ 20, concessions £12, children £5 and a family of four £40.

• East Stand (seated) – adults £15, concessions £10, children £5 and a family of four £30.

• South Stand (standing) - adults £ 15, concessions £ 10, children £5.

• West Stand (standing) - adults £ 15, concessions £ 10, children £5.
