KINGSTONE Press Championship leaders Leigh may be forced to make major changes to their squad for Sunday’s trip to Featherstone.
For what is a repeat of last season’s Grand Final which Leigh won 36-12, Centurions boss Paul Rowley says he could be without several players.
“The changing room after Sunday’s game at Doncaster was like a battleground,” said Rowley.
“I may have to make up to half a dozen changes and we might see some players out of position. There will be opportunities for some of our fringe players and while we are not down to bare bones, it’s not a situation you want so early in the season.”
Leigh will have Tommy Goulden available again after he served a two match ban while Fuifui Moimoi is back in the country having attended his nephew’s funeral in the United States. Winger Adam Higson and second rower Matt Sarsfield are out injured while recent signing Gareth Hock is banned until Easter Monday.
