A book detailing the life and career of Leigh Centurions forward Fuifui Moimoi proved a sales smash ahead of Father’s Day.
The club’s retail outlet in Leigh Market reported brisk sales of the book called Fui Speaks on Saturday as fans snapped up the book, many for Father’s Day presents.
Former Parramatta Eeels forward Moimoi will officially launch the book in the Banqueting Suite at Leigh Sports Village on Wednesday, July 1.
He will be accompanied by head coach Paul Rowley, head of rugby Derek Beaumont and new signing Mathias Pala at a Q&A session hosted by Mike Latham and will be available afterwards to sign copies of the book and for photographs.
Places are strictly limited to 300 and tickets are on sale now from the LSV ticket office.
Tickets are priced at £19.99 and include a copy of the book and a pastie and peas supper.
Supporters who have already bought the book can bring it to the signing event for signing and buy separate tickets for £5 for the supper.
Children aged 12 years and under who accompany a paying adult can gain admittance to the event free of charge but must still obtain a ticket in advance.
Moimoi has been a popular figure since arriving at Leigh for the 2015 season. He represented Tonga and New Zealand at international level and has already signed an extended contract at Leigh.
