Leigh East 2nd Team 18 Bamber Bridge 56

An injury struck 2nd team were on the wrong end of a big score after no less than five players in the team pulled up with injuries within the game which handed the visitors the game, tries for East coming from Jake Beaumont, Gavin Hunter and Curtis Littlewood who also kicked three goals.

Pilkington Recs 40 Leigh East U18s 8

East were on the wrong end of a 40-8 scoreline to a very strong Pilkington Recs team. Leigh East scored two late tries trough Ben Parry and Jack Hansen To give the lads a few positives to take from the game and build on in the next few weeks.

Westhoughton Lions 12 Leigh East U15s 32

East u15s travelled to Westhoughton in what was their toughest game so far and it was the visitors that came out on top after trailing 12-10 at half time to win the game 12-32. Tries from East coming from Josh Grimes 2, Brad Whelan 2, Danny Surridge, Jack Kirkpatrick with James Hall kicking four goals.

Shevington Sharks 36 Leigh East U12s 10

East struggled to handle the strong Shevington attack in a game that saw them go out of the cup competition, Tries for East from Kieron Prescott and Jaden Chanel with Jack Holland kicking a goal

Burtonwood Bulldogs 9 Leigh East U10s 0

A much better second half from East kept the visitors down to just 3three scores but the damage was already done withing the first half.

Leigh East Under 8’s 7-7 Burtonwood Bulldogs

Two very evenly matched sides battled it out try for try showing some excellent rugby skills but also saw East have two tries disallowed.

Tries for East came from Dylan Gregson who scored four tries with two of them being full length efforts, Josh Hopkins (two) and a try being scored by a Burtonwood player who played for East.
