LEIGH Centurions have signed a new kit deal ahead of the 2015 season.

After being with O’Neills since the club moved to Leigh Sports Village, Leigh have returned to the company who last designed their kits in 2007.

The deal will run until the end of the 2016 season with an option for a further year.

Leigh’s new home and away kits will be revealed at a launch event on November 27.

Kukri will supply all playing kit, training wear and leisurewear for the 2014 Kingstone Press Championship League Leaders and Play-Off Winners, as well as a range of retail merchandise for the Leigh Centurions Retail Unit in Leigh Market.

Leigh Centurions head of rugby, Derek Beaumont said: “I am delighted we are able to re-establish a partnership with Kukri. It’s no secret I am a believer in fate and we partnered Kukri the last time we were successful in gaining entry into Super League so I am hoping they can bring us similarly good fortunes.

Kukri North West sales manager, James Oakes said: “It’s really exciting for us to partner up with Leigh Centurions, a club with a great history and a really bright future.

The new Leigh Centurions home and away playing kits will be revealed for the first time at a launch event at Leigh Sports Village on Thursday, November 27.

Replica jerseys and merchandise will be available to buy at the event for the first time, with the range available at the Leigh Centurions Retail Unit the next day.
