Leigh’s head of rugby Derek Beaumont says the Super8 fixtures represent an exciting challenge for the club.
The schedule for the Super8 Qualifiers were released this morning, with Leigh playing four home games and three away. They will start with a tough fixture against Hull KR at the Sports Village which will be broadcast live on Sky Sports.
Beaumont said: “These are very exciting times for our great Club and while we have enjoyed celebrating what the lads worked so hard for in retaining the Kingstone Press Championship League Leaders’ Shield, deservedly so, we now focus our challenge to the difficult task ahead.
“The boys are appreciative of your support which has continued to reinforce my belief that it is worth investing in building a Super League team that this town wants and has proven it will support.”
This game has been designated as the “pay” game for season ticket holders. As previously stated, the cost for season ticket holders will be the full price season ticket divided by 14.
Prices for the game for season ticket holders will be as follows:
NORTH STAND: £14 adults, £10 concessions, u-16 £5, u-12 free
WEST STAND: £15 adults, £11 concessions, u-16 £5, u-12 free
Tickets will go on sale for the game at the Ticket Office at LSV from 10.30am on Wednesday July 29.
Match day prices applicable to non-season ticket holders are stated below.
Season ticket holders in the West Stand will have 48 hours to reserve their usual match day seats before these go on open sale.
Season ticket holders must note that one ticket will be sold to each season ticket holder and both match ticket and season ticket must be presented at the turnstile on the day of the match.
Confirmed prices for non-season ticket-holders are as follows:
NORTH STAND: £18 adults, £12 concessions, u-16 £5, u-12 free
WEST STAND: £20 adults, £14 concessions, u-16 £5, u-12 free
Beaumont said: “We have chosen the Hull KR game as the all-pay fixture which we are sure our loyal fans will understand. The significant investment in the club, which has been rewarded with the back-to-back successes, needs to be minimised at every opportunity and we appreciate the understanding of this from our loyal season ticket holders who recognise the need for us to maximise club revenue by utilising the first and potentially toughest fixture.
“We thank all our season ticket holders in advance of their support and are sure they will be extremely appreciative of the Pro Rata discount that they benefit from which is equivalent to around a 30 percent discount to non-season tickets.”
