Back the Fetch Bob campaign

AS the Fetch Bob campaign starts to gather momentum, we are asking supporters who embrace it by bringing a pal along to a game at Leigh Sports Village to take a photo of themselves, roughly in the same format as the Fetch Bob logo, at the ground and email to leigh.reporter@, or post to Fetch Bob campaign, Editorial, The Leigh Reporter, Lancs Publications Ltd, Martland Mill, Wigan WN5 0LX before Friday, March 16, 2012.

We’ll print them to encourage others to join in, and there are some fantastic prizes on offer from the club.

The mastermind behind the campaign, board member John Roddy, said: “The Fetch Bob campaign has got off to a winning start – we have had great messages from both our loyal and new supporters.

“We had a dad who was bringing his four-year-old son, a family of eight travelling from North Wales, a soldier on leave from the army brought his buddy and a young lady came along with her her best friend.

“We are working behind the scenes to make the whole match experience a great place to be – the Centurions are fully behind the campaign.”

The prizes for the winning photograph are two free tickets to a game; a tour behind the scenes at the LSV; meet the team and have a picture with one of the players.

And the winning photo will be displayed during the York game at the end of March.
