IT is shocking to hear how easy it is nowadays for our health to deteriorate.
We cannot turn the newspaper pages without reading of a rise in cancer, heart disease or diabetes.
We are always given health warnings – don’t smoke, don’t drink, don’t eat too many fatty foods and exercise more.
It seems we are all living on a ticking time bomb and need to give ourselves the best possible chance by adopting a healthier lifestyle.
I was told I was at risk of getting tyle 2 diabetes and so I set to work on getting healthy. I have lost four stone by exercising and cutting out fatty foods and I am the healthiest I have ever been.
I urge everyone to think before they pick up that cigarette, sticky bun or drink and get active.
