Wendy Ascroft (37): Bridgewater Street, Hindley - Driving without due care and attention. Fined £100, required to pay victim surcharge of £30, required to pay costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service, three points added to driving record.

Adam Piorkowski (32): Spa Road, Atherton - Travelled on a railway without having previously paid the fare: Conditionally discharged for six months, to pay compensation of £2.10, victim surcharge of £20 and costs of £80.

Kelsey Lilleth Gwendoline Brown (21): Hilda Street, Leigh - Assaulted Martin Corker and four others, stole a quantity of meat to the value of £50 belonging to Aldi and other shoplifting offences - Committed to a Young Offenders Institute for four months, due to the offence being so serious because of an absolutely appalling record of offending to pay for her addiction to drugs. Embarked on a spree of thefts and assaults on shop staff, spitting at them and threatening them with needles. Ordered to pay victim surcharge of £115.

Donald Brian Ridley (24): Abbey Lane, Leigh - Breached the peace on August 20: Bound over in the sum of £50 for 12 months to keep the peace.

Amy Gibson (32): Troutbeck Drive, Astley - Failed to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle, who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence: Fined £240, required to pay victim surcharge of £30, required to pay costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service. Six points added to driving record.

Jack Pemberton-Murray (27): Wigan Road, Leigh - Failed without reasonable excuse to comply with the requirements of a community order: Order to continue, under curfew for six weeks with electronic monitoring.

Ian Snape (59): Ingram Street, Platt Bridge - Failed without reasonable excuse to provide a specimen of urine for a laboratory test when suspected of having driven a vehicle. Fined £120, required to pay a victim surcharge of £30, to pay costs of £200 to pay Crown Prosecution Service. Disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving license of 16 months.

Louise Kehoe (42): Atherton Road, Hindley Green - Without lawful excuse, damaged a door and a fire extinguisher to the value of £120 belonging to Bond Street Hostel, Leigh. Conditionally discharged for 12 months, required to pay victim surcharge of £20, to pay costs of £150 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
