TWO men have been arrested on suspicion of burglary following an early-morning incident.
Police were called to an address on Market Street in Atherton after two offenders were spotted on CCTV placing a ladder against the third floor of a commercial premises.
Officers attended at around 3.45am on Wednesday and arrested two men who were found inside the building.
Police found the offenders had removed the sign from the building and accessed it through a crawl space but fell through an internal roof.
The fire exit at the back of the building was also damaged and officers believe the offenders tried to force it.
Two men, aged 37 and 43, were arrested on suspicion of burglary and were taken into custody for questioning.
