Firefighters have warned of the dangers of setting fires after a large pile of wood was set alight.
Crews were called to woodland off Liverpool Road, in Hindley, at 9.45pm on Saturday after a mound of logs was ablaze.

They spent 20 minutes tackling the flames with a hose reel.
Watch manager Gary Manock said: “The wood looked like it had been piled up professionally by someone chopping trees down.
“Somebody had then set it alight. We spent 20 minutes there - it was difficult because of where it was.
“Setting deliberate fires is dangerous - you could burn yourself and it could spread.
“People may think it is funny to set fires in woods, but they don’t realise the environmental impact on wildlife and how easily it can spread.”
Meanwhile, crews in Wigan were also called to several grass and rubbish fires throughout Saturday night and the early hours of Sunday.
