THE trial date of a man accused of killing a neighbour has been set for next March.
John Foster, of Richmond Drive, Leigh, appeared at Liverpool Crown Court charged with murdering Kieran Large, also of Richmond Drive. The 30-year-old, who appeared via video link from Forest Bank prison, spoke only to confirm his identity and that he understood the proceedings. He was further remanded in custody until January 6 when he is expected to enter a plea. Judge Clement Goldstone fixed a trial date of March 12.
Former Hitchens Food worker Mr Large, 25, was found dead from internal injuries at his home last month.
