A LEIGH man accused of murdering a neighbour has denied the allegation.

John Foster, of Richmond Drive, pleaded not guilty to the murder of Kieran Dale Large and he also denied a lesser alternative charge of unlawfully killing him on September 19 last year.

Mr Large, 25, a former Wigan Hitchen Foods worker, was found dead from internal injuries at his home in Richmond Drive by police.

Foster, 30, who appeared at Liverpool Crown Court via video link from Forest Bank prison, was further remanded in custody by the judge to await his trial.

It is expected to last between one and two weeks and is set to begin on Monday March 12.
