Two women have been arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a man.
Police are investigating the unexplained death of a 46-year-old man who is reported to have sustained injuries during an altercation on Leigh Road in Leigh on Sunday.
Officers were called to the Royal Bolton Hospital at around 9.30pm on Sunday where the man died after being taken there from an address in Leigh.
The results of a home office post mortem were inconclusive and further tests are currently on-going to determine whether or not the injuries are linked to his death, which is currently being treated as unexplained.

They remain in custody for questioning.
