POLICE are hunting a man who threatened to shoot a 65-year-old man in the kneecap during a robbery in Hindley.

The victim was at home on Argyle Street, Hindley, at 5.30pm on Saturday, December 27, when he heard a knock at the door.

The offender then pushed his way into the address and marched the victim into the living room, where he pulled out a silver handgun and demanded cash.

He then held the gun against the man’s leg, saying “I know you have money, I will shoot your kneecap if you don’t hand it over.”
