Police have recovered what is thought to be a stolen bike frame, and are appealing for the rightful owner to come forward and claim it.
On Wednesday November 2 a search warrant was executed at an address on Pennington Square in Leigh.
A number of items were seized including a red Specialised Epic mountain bike frame with red pedals. PC Paul Hesketh of the Leigh Neighbourhood Policing Team said: “We return stolen property whenever we can, but in this case we have exhausted our inquiries and still can’t find the rightful owner.
“The property will only be released to whoever can produce either a matching serial number or valid receipt.”
If anyone believes they may be the owner, please call the Leigh NPT on 0161 856 7225 and quote the serial number to check for a match. Alternatively, bring a receipt showing proof of purchase to Leigh Police Station on Chapel Street, Leigh.
