THE family of little Braiden Prescott has delivered the devastating news that his cancer has returned.
The youngster, who was told he was clear of neuroblastoma in September 2013, has been undergoing routine check-ups and was taken to hospital after experiencing pain in recent weeks.

And with just weeks to go until Christmas, the Prescott family made a heartbreaking announcement on Facebook today saying that his cancer had returned.
On the “Braiden LEE Prescott” page, which was set up during the fund-raising mission, they wrote: “With a sad and broken heart I have some bad news today, Braiden’s been in pain for a few weeks, today we found out that his cancer is back.
“He’s been prescribed morphine for his pain and will be going seeing his consultant on Friday, he’s talking about sending us London.
“Braiden’s still at school and doesn’t know a thing yet, I’m too upset to pick him up at this minute.”
The six-year-old was diagnosed with neuroblastoma in 2012 and following a mammoth fund-raising drive, he was flown out to America for specialist treatment.
Sadly, this failed but following aggressive chemotherapy at the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, he was eventually cleared.
