ONLINE tributes have been paid following the sudden death of one borough’s best known doctors.
Dr Deepak Trivedi, 65, passed away on Sunday. He leaves a wife Dr Alka Trivedi, and son and daughter Alankar and Anita and his two grandsons.

Dr Trivedi was a valued local GP, a member of the CCG’s Governing Body and Ex-National President of the British International Doctors’ Association.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3, at 12noon at Howe Bridge Crematorium, Atherton.
The family have asked for no flowers please but if anyone would like to give a donation to Wigan and Leigh Hospice they would be very grateful.
