A WIGAN man has been charged with stealing almost £400 from his employer.

Benjamin Waterworth, 20, of Elgin Close, Ince, appeared at Wigan Magistrates’ Court charged with stealing £385 from Morrisons whilst he was working on June 30.

He was also charged with breaking into a property in Queen Street, Platt Bridge, on December 10 last year, stealing £545 worth of jewellery and computer equipment,

No pleas were entered and he was released on unconditional bail.
