Arson probe launched after barber’s shop blaze

An arson investigation has been launched following a suspicious fire at a barber’s shop.

Emergency services were called to an address on Westleigh Lane shortly after 12.25pm on Sunday.

Crews from Leigh, Hindley and Wigan fire stations all attended the blaze and battled the flames.

The incident is being treated as arson and a police investigation is now under way.
