FEARS are growing for the safety of a man who is missing from his Leigh home.
Edward Sheehy, pictured above, who is also known as Edward Charles, was last seen in the early hours of Thursday March 22 at his home in Miriam Grove.
It is unknown what he was wearing when at the time he disappeared.
PC Shaun Hunter said: “Edward’s family are now growing increasingly concerned for his welfare and we have released a picture of him in the hope that anyone who may have seen him recently calls us.”
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 or the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
Police have also repeated their appeal for helping in tracing the whereabouts of a missing Wigan man.
Ashley Lynch, 22, from Bryn, was last seen in the Ashton area a week last Monday.
On the day he went missing, he was wearing a grey tracksuit with dark stripes, a light grey or green padded jacket, a light grey or green peaked cap and black trainers.
