TWO adults and a young child have been taken to hospital following a road traffic collision.
Two cars smashed into each other in Castle Hill Road, Hindley, at 7.15pm on Friday.
Paramedics from North West Ambulance Service treated a man, a woman and a child for minor injuries at the scene and they were taken to Wigan Infirmary in an ambulance.
Police are now investigating what caused the crash.
The road was closed for less than half an hour as emergency services attended the scene.
A spokesman for Hindley Fire Service said: “The people involved were out of the vehicles when we arrived and they do not appear to have been seriously injured.”
