A car stuck on the Leigh Guided Busway tracks caused delays.
Services on the Leigh Guided Busway route - which opened last month - were delayed for around 40 minutes when the Ford drove onto the tracks at Holden Lane.
at around 1.30pm on Saturday.
Transport for Greater Manchester arrived on scene to help remove the vehicle from the busway car trap area and services were resumed at around 2.10pm.
A TfGM spokesperson said: “At around 1.30pm on Saturday we received reports of a car driving onto the Leigh guided busway and becoming stuck at a car trap on Holden Lane.
“The car was removed by a recovery specialist and a full bus service resumed 40 minutes after the incident.
“We will be reviewing CCTV footage to understand how this incident happened.”
