A BRASS band from Leigh will launch its CD with a special concert this weekend.
Intrada Brass Ensemble will play tracks form their new album, Identity Crisis, at Astley St Stephen’s Church on Saturday July 20, supporting the church Raise the Roof Appeal.
The 10-piece brass ensemble plus percussion, will play a wide repertoire from their new CD which has an eclectic range of music.
From early baroque, through the classical era, well known tunes uniquely arranged including Swing Low Sweet Chariot and Londonderry Air and modern big band standards such as It Don’t Mean A Thing If It Ain’t Got That Swing, as well as some original compositions, traditional brass repertoire, show tunes and more - something for everyone!
Tickets are £9.50 for adults and £5 for children.
