Attempted murder - second charge

A SECOND man has been charged in connection with a shooting in Wigan.

David Mitchell, 30, has been charged with attempted murder and appeared before Wigan and Leigh magistrates where he was remanded in custody.

The charges relate to an incident on the evening of April 5 when police were called to Marigold Street, Worsley Hall, Wigan, following reports that shots had been fired. No-one was injured.

Sean Anthony Nolan, 25, of no fixed address has previously been charged with attempted murder and remanded in custody. A 32-year-old man arrested on suspicion of attempted murder has been bailed until June 4 pending further inquiries.
