A MAN accused of threatening to kill a woman he imprisoned will face a jury at crown court.

Dean Wallbank is accused of inflicting actual bodily harm (ABH) to his victim who he allegedly falsely imprisoned.

Wallbank, of Shakerley Road, Tyldesley, did not enter a plea at a hearing at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates’ Court.

The court was told that on June 14, Wallbank allegedly assaulted, detained and threatened to kill the woman.

Prosecuting Mike Ardern said the victim feared that the threats would be carried out in the alleged incident.

Wallbank, 26, who was found guilty of possessing cannabis and given a six month conditional discharge, has been remanded in custody until his trial at Liverpool Crown Court on June 27.
