THEY were delighted to invite him and he didn’t let them down.
Dean Friedman performed at the Turnpike Arts Centre and delighted everyone in the audience with a stunning show.
Friedman first entertained UK audiences with his chart-topping hit, Lucky Stars.
The now classic single, paved the way for a slew of hits off Friedman’s critically acclaimed album, “Well, Well” Said the Rocking Chair”, including familiar tracks, Lydia, Rocking Chair, Woman of Mine, McDonald’s Girl and Ariel.
In a very short time, Friedman had achieved legendary, pop-icon status and was acknowledged, by critics and fans alike, as one of the finest singer/songwriters of his generation.
Performing at the popular Leigh venue, the singer gave a superb performance to a sold out audience.
After the show Dean chatted to fans, signed autographs and had many photographs taken.
This is the first of many concerts planned by CreativeLEIGH at the Turnpike.
