THREE Leigh Centurions players have been named in the Kingstone Press Championship Team of the Week.

Full-back Gregg McNally, winger Liam Kay and half-back Martyn Ridyard have all been recognised for their efforts as Centurions beat Halifax on Wednesday.

It was a tight game which Centurions edged late on and came just a few days after they had pushes Super League giants Leeds all the way in the quarter finals of the Tetley’s Challenge Cup.

In addition, Martin Aspinwall, the Leigh forward on loan at Swinton, was also included in the team. Ex-Centurions hooker Anthony Nicholson - who is now at Batley - also earned a place in the team.
