Leigh Centurions have switched Fuifui Moimoi’s book launch to Wednesday 8 July, the night they play Hunslet.
The club is inviting all supporters to the event which showcases Moimoi’s autobiography - Fui Speaks.
It takes place in the Banqueting Suite at Leigh Sports Village. Supporters who have a season ticket or valid match day ticket can enjoy a pasty and peas supper in the Banqueting Suite pre-match and get a wristband to gain entry to the post match presentations at a bargain price.
Tickets are priced at £19.99 and include a copy of the book and the pasty and peas supper. Supporters who have already bought the book can bring it to the event for signing and buy separate tickets for £5 for the supper. Children aged 12 years and under who accompany a paying adult can gain admittance to the event free of charge but must still obtain a ticket in advance.
Moimoi will be available for book signings and photograph opportunities after the game.
Tickets are on sale at the LSV box office.
The book is already on sale at Leigh Centurions’ retail outlet in the Market Hall priced £14.99 and copies will also be on sale at the game against Hunslet.
It will be a busy night at the LSV as tickets for the Curry Night to be held in the Arthur Thomas Boardroom are already going well. The Guest Of Honour is former Centurions favourite Mick Nanyn who recently announced his retirement after climbing to sixth place in the all-time list of points-scorers in Rugby League history.
Guests to the Curry Night will hear an exclusive interview with Mick Nanyn and as usual head coach Paul Rowley and head of rugby Derek Beaumont will give their pre-match thoughts. There will also be other guests and the popular quiz.
Prices for the Curry Night start from £20 for a season ticket upgrade or £42 per person including a match ticket and include a copy of the programme. Call Amanda Lee on 01942 487898 or email Amanda.firstname.lastname@example.org for more details.
