Get stuck into netball again

Fancy trying a new sport? Or returning to one? Or just getting fit by playing one?

Two netball sessions run at Leigh Sports Village on Mondays 8.30-9.30pm.

‘Netball Now’ is designed to offer an hour of activity playing netball match play for regular players who want to play more, learn new tactics or just improve their game.

‘Back2Netball’ which is all about getting back to the sport after time out or easing yourself into a new sport at a basic level by fun games, fitness and match play. Both sessions are led by qualified coaches and are £3. Anyone 14+ can join in. All you need to do is turn up at the sports hall at Leigh Sports Village just before 8.30pm and register with Sam Poole.

l Tyldesley netball club are also looking to strengthen their squads at all age groups particularly primary school age children aged six and up.

Four qualified coaches work with four different ability groups 5.30-7.00pm.

Players can just turn up on Mondays at Leigh Sports Village – no need to register.
