Leigh Centurions are urging fans to buy their tickets for the Summer Bash Kingstone Press Championship game against Featherstone Rovers directly from the club.

The fledgling event takes place at Bloomfield Road, Blackpool on Sunday May 24.

The game kicks-off at 5-15pm and concludes the two days of entertainment at the seaside. Earlier in the day Dewsbury Rams play Batley Bulldogs (12.45pm) and Doncaster face Hunslet Hawks (3pm).

Tickets are available for reserved seating in the West Stand and unreserved seating in the South Stand and there are incentives for season ticket holders.

Reserved seats in the West Stand are priced at £30 for adults and £15 for concessions. Leigh Centurions season ticket holders can get their tickets for half price on production of their season tickets at time of purchase.

Unreserved seats in the South Stand are priced at £20 for adults and £10 for concessions. Again, Leigh Centurions season ticket holders can get their tickets for half price on production of their season tickets at time of purchase.

Leigh Centurions operations director Allan Rowley said: “I have just returned from a meeting at Bloomfield Road and it needs reiterating that every penny from pre sales goes to us and any money taken on the day goes to the RFL, also there are no cash turnstiles and people would have to queue at the ticket office.”

“We hope as many of our supporters as possible can follow us to Blackpool and buy their tickets from us to support the club. It should be a great occasion and everyone at Leigh Centurions is looking forward to the day.”
