A LOCAL dealership celebrated the holiday season with two competition winners.

Bolton Kia announced the two winners just in time for the festive period.

In October this year the dealership ran a competition for the chance to win an iPad when their cars were displayed in the Market Place Shopping Centre. The competition was held on a national level in conjunction with Kia Motors UK with entrants from all over the UK. Michelle Southern of Bolton was independently picked out as the lucky winner.

She said of her win: “You don’t expect to win an iPad for filling in a quick entry form! I was really surprised and I’m over the moon with winning the iPad.”

Whilst one local winner is certainly a cause for celebration, the dealership doubled the joy by drawing the winner of its Christmas Hamper competition on Monday, creating another lucky local winner.

As part of Bolton Kia’s sponsorship of Bolton Council’s Festive Bolton 2012 programme, the dealership displayed the current Kia range on Victoria Square throughout December and gave members of the public the chance to win a Christmas Hamper by entering a prize draw. The lucky winner of the hamper was Dawn Guest of Farnworth.

The win was completely unexpected for Dawn: “I was shocked when I received the telephone call informing me I had won; I never win anything so this was a brilliant surprise!

“The hamper looks fantastic so I can’t wait to share the goodies with the family over Christmas.”

Kia also has some celebrating to do this party season as it was crowned winner of Which best car manufacturer award 2012 and has beaten its best ever UK annual sales performance this year. Alex Purdie, Dealer Principle at Bolton Kia, said: “Kia has had a fantastic year this year aand we wish all our customers a very merry Christmas and a happy New Year”

Bolton Kia is conveniently located on Middlebrook Retail Park right next door to the famous Reebok Stadium, home of Bolton Wanderers FC, just a short hop from junction 6 of the M61.
