CONLONS Opticians in Leigh is celebrating its 130th anniversary by offering one lucky Leigh Reporter reader the chance to win a pair of designer sunglasses.
It is also having an open day on the June 22 and 23 where customers will be asked to help celebrate with free cakes and refreshments for all as well as receiving 30 per cent off its extensive range of designer glasses and sunglasses with leading names such as Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, Ray-Ban, Gucci, Versace and Puccini.
Branch manager Clare Raynes said: “We are delighted to be celebrating our 130th anniversary and would like to invite our customers to come and help us celebrate on June 22 and 23 to enjoy a piece of cake.
“We are also offering customers 30 per cent off all our ranges as well as the chance to win a pair of designer spectacles in a free prize draw.”
Conlons in Leigh was established in 1976 and the store now employs a total of 13 highly trained specialist staff and is managed by Clare who has been at Conlons in Leigh for 15 years.
Conlons Opticians was founded in 1882 by Bernard Conlon who opened his first practice in Liverpool.
Today Conlons is the largest family owned opticians in the North West of England and South West Scotland and has a total of 17 branches.
