RUGBY fans can bid on tickets to see their favourite team play.

Wigan and Leigh Carers Centre is offering people the chance to bid on 10 tickets for a Leigh Centurions game on February 26, after Phil Eckersley, owner of Home Instead care services, in Pemberton, donated the seats as a fund-raising prize.

Phil said: “I won the tickets in a raffle and thought the carers centre could make use of them.

“Running a carers business myself I am an advocate for carers in the community.”

Pauline Gregson, manager for Wigan and Leigh Carers Centre, said:“Anyone who wishes to bid for the tickets can do so on our website of Facebook page.

“Leave your offer and telephone number and we will contact you by February 23 if you have been successful.”

Anyone wishing to bid for the tickets can visit www.wiganandleighcarerscentre.org.uk or www.facebook.com/people/Wigan-Leigh-Carers-Centre

The closing date is February 22.
