What appealed to you most about the property?
The location of the property in Swinley The style of the property, Victorian. The garden is large for both the style of house and the area, and not overlooked at the back.
How long have you lived in the property?
What have you done since moving into the property?
We have had most of the home re-plastered, decorated, new flooring throughout, installed a new bathroom, installed a wood burning stove. Re-divided the living room and lounge to make two separate living areas. We have spent £15,000 on refurbishing the home.
Why are you selling?
To move to Australia, Amanda has been offered a fantastic opportunity in Australia and having lived there previously we are eager to return.
What is your favourite room and why?
The living room is large and light, but also cosy with the log burning stove.
As well as the large kitchen dining room which is great for entertaining.
How close are the amenities?
Being in Swinley you are within walking distance to Mesnes park, Wigan town centre, and the shops this offers. You are also close to the motorway and some excellent schools
To whom would this property be best suited?
A variety of people, from couples wanting to live near to town, or people working in the town centre. Families as the home offers large living space with three reception rooms. The garden is ideal for a family with children, or couples who like to garden.
