A WOMEN’S support centre in Leigh has officially opened its new premises.
Well Women Centre moved into its third premises, although still in Church Street, Leigh, having moved from 52 to 55, at the end of last year.
And last week supporters, Leigh MP Andy Burnham, and Atherton and Bolton MP Julie Hilling officially opened the centre and congratulated the team.
Set up in 1992, the centre offers a counselling service for women, drop-in sessions on Tuesdays from 12 noon until 3pm, courses on building confidence and stress management and therapies. Brook Advisory Services offer sexual health advice for women under 25 at the centre on Wednesdays, from 3pm to 7pm, to.
