Lee Paul Kyte (40): Millers Lane, Platt Bridge – Drove a vehicle on High Street, Standish, whilst unfit to drive through drugs, assaulted Gary Farrimond by beating, drove a vehicle on Woodhouse Lane without due care and attention, had in his possession a quantity of diamorphine, a Class A drug: Committed to prison for 4 months, suspended for 12 months, drug rehabilitation requirement, rehabilitation activity requirement, disqualified for holding or obtaining a driving licence for 3 years, £75 compensation, £80 victim surcharge, £200 costs to the Crown Prosecution Service, £180 criminal courts charge.

Thomas Bruder (69): Stretton Avenue, Billinge – Permitted Richard Moss to use a vehicle on Wigan Road, Winstanley, when there was not in force a policy of insurance: £440 fine, £44 victim surcharge, £620 costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.

On the court page in the Wigan Observer on September 22, an article about Darryl Eyre, 26, who is facing sexual offence charges, stated he lived at Stanedge Grove, Hawkley Hall. This was the address given in court but we have been asked to clarify he lives in Bird Street, Ince.
