SIR Tom Jones will return to the borough to entertain thousands of fans at a sold-out gig at Haydock Park Racecourse this weekend.
The world-famous singer, best known for hits such as Delilah, will perform for more than 18,000 race-goers after a packed day of action on the course on Saturday.
Sir Tom, who has sold more than 100 million records, returns to Haydock after a successful show at the racecourse in 2011 and will play a 90-minute set after the final race of the day.
Haydock park general manager Garry Fortune said: “We are delighted Sir Tom Jones has sold out this weekend. Music nights at Haydock Park are renowned for being a fantastic day out.
“We are looking forward to another superb event and we hope all racegoers have a cracking day out.”
A very limited selection of Tattersall tickets remain available, which can be bought on the gate.
