A Leigh supermarket wants to celebrate Valentine’s Day with the town’s longest married couple.
Andy they are asking Leigh Reporter readers to help find them.
The Asda store, on Windermere Road, is on the hunt for the couple who have been married the longest who will be presented with a bottle of bubbly and a box of chocolates to make their Valentine’s celebrations extra special.
Store manager, Chris Matthews, said: “Valentine’s Day is all about celebrating your relationship and treating that someone special in your life. This year, we wanted to mark the occasion by giving a gift to the couple who are keeping love alive in Leigh by clocking up the most years of marriage.
“We’re appealing to married couples in the community, who are celebrating many happy years together; to bring a copy of their marriage certificate to the store next time they are in doing their shopping.”
To enter the search to find Leigh’s longest married couple, take a photocopy of your marriage certificate with your name and contact details to the store before Thursday, February 9 and hand to a store colleague.
