LEIGH rock band Elias T Hoth took to the stage at the Colne International Blues Festival, one of the country’s biggest celebrations of RnB, rock and jazz.

The group performed on the British Bulmer’s Stage in front of thousands of people who flocked to East Lancashire for the four-day festival.

The band performed with bassist Lloyd Barnett standing in for usual four-stringer Cy Dark, while the set was given an extra blues twist by the harmonica playing of Liam Ward on several songs and the backing vocals of female duo The Passionettes.

The band’s set, which mixed classic tracks with songs from new album Wrath Widower, was recorded for a live CD which will be released later this year.
