A NEW community radio station has launched in Tyldesley.
Pulstar online radio aims to report issues in a positive manner to anywhere within a 30 miles radius of the borough.
Founded by Paul Black of Tyldesley Party Shop, a group of volunteers are aiming to put the community first.
Gaynor Kirrane, a volunteer at the station, said: “We are a group of like-minded individuals that have come together with backgrounds from within the radio industry.
“We all felt there was a need for a local community station that reported issues within the areas that our listeners’ could relate to as well as a fun packed station for all age groups covering all interests and musical tastes.”
All the presenters live and work in the borough and are committed to volunteering at the station and making it accessible for residents.
