She sustained fatal injuries just three days before her 31st birthday.

The driver of the single-decker bus involved in the incident was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and has since been bailed until November 21 pending further inquiries.

Paying tribute to her, Stephanie’s parent’s Ray and Carole said: “Stephanie had had a troubled past and had suffered a lot of misery in her life, however, she had just been successful in getting a new job. This had created a real spark in her life.

“Stephanie enjoyed working and loved to work hard and organise people. She will be sadly missed by her family and we all love her and hope that she is now resting in peace”

Witnesses are asked to call the Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 0161 856 4741.
