MINI Warrington launched its brand new MINI Showroom on Winwick Road earlier this month.

The event was named MINI Grand Opening Ceremony and all attendees had the opportunity to take part in a MINI Pentathlon to win a Gold, Silver or Bronze award.

They also had the opportunity to compete against their guest Jenny Meadow, former 800m Champion and Sky Sports pundit.

They were also joined by the
Warrington Wolves mascot Wolfie and the challenge cup which prompted lots of customers to take advantage of the photo opportunity.

One month prior to the MINI Grand Opening Halliwell Jones ran a competition with Wire FM called “Gone in 159 seconds”.

The customers had to register online and during the last two weeks the car chose a location of one of the entries, after giving them some clues as to where the branded MINI would be, they then had 159 seconds to get into the car.

The six finalists then attended the final at the showroom on Saturday, where they were each asked to choose a key and only one opened the car on display. The lucky winner is enjoying two nights in Rome, flights, transfers plus £250 spending money. Also courtesy of Johnsons Hairdressing who also supported the event by giving away visits to the saloon and goody bags, the lucky winner will get a complimentary make over prior to their MINI Italian Job in Rome.

Over the last six months Halliwell Jones have been busy working to redesign and transform the current MINI showroom into a state-of –the art facility, to provide something special for their customers.

The new showroom offers them increased and improved parking facilities with their own car park entrance and a dedicated MINI Service Advisor. Not to mention the ability to showcase a larger selection of the New Car Range inside the showroom and the increased MINI Cherished display area outside.

Halliwell Jones Warrington MINI would like to invite Leigh Reporter readers to pop into the new showroom for a cup of tea or coffee and a chat. You can let them know what you think about their new development.
