WELCOME to the world!
Meet this gorgeous baby who was among those born at Wigan Infirmary’smaternity unit on New Year’s Day.
The next to last baby out of six, including twin boys, born on the big day at the Infirmary was Dylan Shaun Wilde.
He arrived at 4.28pm, weighing 5lb 14oz.
But although he started his arrival early he then made his mummy and daddy wait.
The clock was just about to strike midnight when Kelly Ridley, 18, went into labour at 11.45pm on New Year’s Eve.
She was with the baby’s father Jac Wilde, 17, at the time, and quickly rang her mum, who was just about to celebrate 2012 when she received the call.
Kelly, of Arrow Street, Leigh, said: “He was due on January 22, but I went into slow labour on Christmas Eve.
“We spent the week at home and then he started coming on New Year’s Eve just before midnight.
“I rang my mum who rushed home from the pub and we got a lift to the hospital.”
