THE family of a pharmacist from Leigh have paid tribute to him after he died in a car crash in North Wales.
Gary Ratcliffe, 41, died following a road traffic collision on the A55 at Rhuallt Hill, Flintshire in on Sunday afternoon (June 22).
The vehicle Gary was travelling in crashed off the side of the dual carriageway and down the embankment.
A second man was airlifted to hospital with injuries which were not understood to be serious.
Speaking about Gary, who worked in Manchester, his other Eileen said: “He was a wonderful son, brother and uncle, who had lots of friends.
“He was a friendly hard working person who was very good at his work.”
His sister Bernice added: “Gary was a larger than life character who lived life to the full and he will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him.”
