YOUNGSTERS have been hailed for making a difference to their community.
Ashton’s Little Voices group used time off in the summer holidays to clean up their favourite haunt, Jubilee Park, with a litter pick.
The group also held an anti-bully campaign. Youth worker Amy Calter said: “We’re really proud of what the children and young people have achieved over the summer. They came up with the ideas for the campaigns and planned what activities they would do. They have looked at some serious issues and have done a fantastic job.”
