A FINAL rally to try to stop Leigh being split into three different parliamentary consitutencies is being held at the Town Hall on Saturday.

The town has already massed behind the campaign to prevent the Leigh constituency being re-drawn, with almost 5,000 letters of protest being sent to the Boundary Commission but townsfolks are ebing urged to take this last chance to show their opposition.

Keep Leigh in Leigh leader and Leigh Centurions CEO Trevor Barton met community representatives to collect the letters which have already been sent at the Town Hall last weekend.

The rally starts at 11.30am on Saturday.
