Kidnap victim found at home

The victim of an abduction has been found safe and well at home after police issued an appeal to find him.

Greater Manchester Police urged the victim and witnesses to the kidnapping to come forward earlier today.

They are continuing to investigate reports that a man was bundled into a car on Twist Lane in Leigh shortly before 8.30pm yesterday.

The orange Ford Focus then drove off towards Atherton.

A 22-year-old man, a 26-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman have been arrested on suspicion of kidnap and remain in police custody for questioning.

Det Insp Paul Rollinson, of GMP’s Wigan borough, said: “We have already made three arrests in connection with this incident but our investigation continues.

“We would urge anybody who saw a vehicle matching this description or anything that can help our investigation to contact us.”
